Public policy

Logo use must stay tied to certificate scope and status

Certification mark use is controlled through approved artwork, certificate scope, certificate status and misuse escalation rules.

Permitted use

  • Use of Prime's certification mark is limited to the organisation, products, sites, services and dates covered by an active certificate.
  • Certificate numbers and public halal claims must match the details published in the public registry.
  • Artwork, size, colour and placement rules follow the approved brand and certification-mark files issued by Prime.

Restricted use

  • The mark must not be used for products, batches, locations or services outside the certified scope.
  • Use must stop immediately when a certificate expires, is suspended, withdrawn, revoked or is no longer public.
  • The mark must not imply government approval, export approval, accreditation or recognition unless Prime supplies verified evidence for that claim.

Approval and misuse

  • Certified organisations keep artwork approvals and packaging examples where required by Prime's approved procedure.
  • Suspected misuse can be reported through the complaints procedure with evidence such as photos, links, packaging or certificate numbers.
  • Prime records corrective actions, status changes and public registry updates in the certificate lifecycle history.
