Purpose
- Certification decisions must be based on the approved scope, evidence reviewed and applicable certification requirements.
- Commercial interest, personal relationships or external pressure must not override certification requirements.
- Conflicts of interest are identified, recorded and managed before a person participates in a relevant review or decision.
Controls
- People involved in sales, review, audit and certification decisions have defined responsibilities.
- Appeals and complaints are handled through documented pathways that consider independence and fairness.
- Certification status changes are recorded through lifecycle history and audit logs where the platform supports them.
Public claims
- Prime Halal Certification does not claim accreditation, government approval or international recognition unless verifiable evidence is published.
- Certificate verification displays approved public fields and avoids confidential business or audit information.
- Concerns about impartiality can be submitted through the complaints procedure.
